Water-based ink has several advantages over other types of inks:

Water-based ink is absorbed into the fibers of the fabric, resulting in a soft, breathable print that feels like part of the fabric.

It can be easily cleaned up:
Water-based ink can be cleaned up with water, making it easy to clean up and dispose of.
It offers a wide range of colors:
Water-based ink comes in a wide range of colors, including fluorescents, metallics, and simulated process colors.
The main disadvantage of water-based ink is that it can be more difficult to work with compared to plastisol ink, as it dries faster and requires more skill to print. It also may not be as durable as plastisol inks.
Waterbased ink may not be suitable for every time of garment and typically works best on 100% cotton or natural garments.
Water-based ink is awesome and has it's place in any screen print shop. Typically the best shops will carry a number of ink types suitable for different screen print applications and products.
