Awesome London-Dwellers...Check out the Jealous Gallery Pop-Up Print Studio!

For one week only, Awesome Merchandise customers Jealous Gallery are hosting the
window-space at swanky homewares brand Heals’ flagship Tottenham Court Road store in London - they’re filling the space with a pop-up print shop turning out freshly-screened prints from various artists they work with.

Live Print Studio at Heals' Tottenham Court Road

The artists, designers and illustrators will be on hand to chat about the event, the printing process and their art.  And as well as the original and limited edition artworks they and the Jealous team will be creating during the exhibition, you’ll also have the opportunity to pull your own prints, and even print your own ‘moustache mask’ (we do love a good moustache...)!

Jealous Gallery

Obviously this has tickled our fancy here at Awesome Merchandise HQ...but it’s a bit of a jaunt from Leeds!

If you’re down in London this week, then mosey on down to the Heals’ store on Tottenham Court Road - the pop-up studio is open all week until Sunday 5th February.  You don’t need tickets to get in, or to get involved, so give it a whirl!

Check out the event on the Jealous Gallery website here, and on the Heals' website here...and if you're heading down, have an awesome time!

TREKSTOCK - A Super Awesome Charity!

Afternoon all!

As ever at Awesome Merchandise, we love hearing about what our awesome customers are getting up to - and helping them to promote it of course!

We thought it was high time we introduced you to one of our long-time customers, the amazing charity Trekstock.  We've been making their signature "I [heart] Trekstock" badges for years, which have adorned the lapels of numerous celebs, including the patron of the charity Mark Ronson.

Here's a little bit about Trekstock to whet your appetite...

Our concept: At Trekstock we strive to challenge the norm of traditional giving, offering young people inspiring events, great products and design and a creative platform to fundraise. In doing so, we are communicating a vital message through the things they love and letting these unique experiences do the talking. Together we hope to create real change.

About Trekstock: Founded in 2006, Trekstock aims to raise awareness of cancer in young people, and to ensure those affected receive the information and the support they need. The charity raises funds and awareness through gigs, music & fashion collaborations and organised treks. Profits from our fundraising initiatives, will fund the lifesaving research into the specific types of cancer that affect this age group. Trekstock encourages young people to live a healthy style in an engaging way and is working with Cancer Research UK to achieve its wish of helping prevent, diagnose, treat, and ultimately beat cancer.

Trekstock supporters:
With internationally respected musician Mark Ronson as a patron, Trekstock draws support from many influential musicians including Ellie Goulding, Katy Perry, Bloc Party, Kings of Leon and The Maccabees as well as from publications such as Vogue, the NME and The Sunday Times. Trekstock has grown rapidly, helping to raise awareness and support for this important cause and 2011 sees a very exciting year with some fantastic partnerships in place, an incredible ‘gig in the sky’ project and the growth of an invaluable support base.

How you can help: If you are keen to volunteer with Trekstock, hold an event, or undertake a challenge, or just find out more we would love to hear from you. Please email us at hello@trekstock.com

Check out their website at www.trekstock.com to see the amazing work Trekstock has been doing - or for more direct action you can sponsor founder Sophie's latest trek here.
