Hello everyone!
As you may well know, we did a series of blogs earlier in the year called ‘Meet The Awesome Staff.’ Did you know that? Well you do now. Check this link out, as it’s the last part of the series (until now) and has links for all of the six parts. No need to thank me for sorting out your weekend reading. First off, it’s time to read part 7 below. We’ve had an influx of new staff, as we’re super frickin’ busy and here they are, in all their glory! I’ve updated the questions a little bit too.
Can I just mention that Wardle is the smiliest man I’ve ever met… although according to the other staff, it’s covering up a multitude of other sins! Naughty Wardle. Anyway, they’re all lovely and were very welcoming when I thrusted all these dumb questions down their throats.

What’s your name? Mark Wardle
What’s your role at AM? Production, on the badge machines.
What do you do outside of AM? I’m a mature student studying English, and I like to go to a few gigs a week.
Favourite band atm? Yo La Tengo
What one food do you detest and why? I’m not fussy at all, I’ll eat owt.
Favourite city and why? Welington in New Zealand, it’s the coolest place I have ever been too. I met a hot librarian there!
Have you ever taken a picture of a cat and put it on the internet? No, but I do love cats.
What’s your favourite thing about working for Awesome Merch? The people, all the staff are dead friendly.
What’s your favourite Awesome Merchandise product? The 25mm fridge magnets!
What’s the last gig you went to? Tall Ships and Dad Rocks at The Brudenell.
Who’s your favourite member of the AM team and why? Paul Brennan because he’s got a delightful smile.
Would you rather go to the dentist when you’re hungover or find a very large spider in your bathtub? The spider, it’s mice that I’m scared of.

What do you do outside of AM? I draw and I bake.

What one food do you detest and why? Bananas: it’s an irrational phobia! I hate them and they make me feel sick.
Favourite city and why? Leeds because it’s my new home.
Have you ever taken a picture of a cat and put it on the internet? I haven’t. If I had a cat I’d make a concerted effort not to photo it.
What’s your favourite thing about working for Awesome Merch? The people and the music!
What’s your favourite Awesome Merchandise product? Stickers: the custom shaped vinyl ones!

What do you do outside of AM? Play rugby! I play fly-half or stand-off for Morley RFC. We’ve won 7 out of 7 this season!

Favourite city and why? Leeds because it’s the BEST.

Finally, is there anything awesome you wanna promote about yourself? Nope, I’m a modest guy.
What’s your name? Emma ‘em-dawg’ O’Connell.
What’s your role at AM? Customer Service.
What do you do outside of AM? I live with my boyfriend Ben & my kittens Eli & Elsie. I go to lots of festivals and GIGS (not ‘shows’ – *cough Nikki cough*) Love going drinking with my friends and dancing all night.
Favourite band atm? At the mo I’m mainly listening to a lot of new albums from TNS Records (Manchester based independent record label), mainly Bootscraper, Faintest Idea, Beat the Red Light, Rising Strike and Stand Out Riot. Fave band of all time is without a doubt Alkaline Trio 
What one food do you detest and why? Brown sauce, it’s just wrong. What even is it, brown is not a flavour. Disgusting.
Favourite city and why? Barcelona – I love the Gaudi architecture, the punk/metal clubs and bars, the beach, street entertainers, shopping, everything! The city has a vibe unlike any other I’ve been to, its amazing!
In the UK has to be a tie between my home town of Manchester and my second home Leeds.
Have you ever taken a picture of a cat and put it on the internet? Pretty much every day!
What’s your favourite thing about working for Awesome Merch? My colleagues! Everyone is amazing to work with and make every day really fun. Also, our weird and wonderful customers, they’re awesome and it makes me happy when they love their stuff!
What’s your favourite Awesome Merchandise product? Screen printed tees and totes.
What’s the last gig you went to? Tantz & Seas of Mirth at The Dry Dock in Leeds. I graciously lost at a tug of war competition.
Who’s your favourite member of the AM team and why? You can’t ask that! I love everyone!
Would you rather go to the dentist when you’re hungover or find a very large spider in your bathtub? I’m not really scared of spiders so would have to go for that!
Finally, is there anything awesome you wanna promote about yourself? There isn’t, I’m pretty rubbish. I would however like to introduce Bootscraper, my friends band who are awesome and people should definitely check them out.
