Hello everyone!
How’s it going? As you may well know from the abundance of tweets, posts and pictures, yesterday Luke Hodson and I went along to an event for Social Media week at the Google Campus. Luckily I hadn’t updated my iPhone to iOS6 and we used the Google maps to find out where we going, with only a minor excursion up the wrong road.
So why were we there? It was for our good chums at Constant Contact U.K, as they wanted to use us as a case study for all the awesome social media we do. Awesome! We’re never ones to shy away from showing off, so Luke and I sat on the stage and talked about all things awesome, whilst people laughed at my hair and Luke’s hat. On a personal level, I’d never been involved with anything like this before. I find all things social come naturally, because I’ve grown up (honestly) with it and because it’s part of my life routine, like having breakfast or a shower. At the same time, I do understand some people have to learn about it, and that’s why talking about our knowledge is hopefully useful for the less au fait and savvy with the world of tweets and posts. Now if only someone can teach me how to catch, iron, speak Spanish or put a tent up.
Silliness aside, you can actually watch the video from the event below or right here. Beware, it’s long but if you want to improve the social media for your small business, then it’s well worth a watch! We also received a bunch of awesome tweets during the event, I’ve attached some below for your perusal.

So to conclude! Thanks to Constant Contact U.K for having us, thanks to everyone who tweeted us or came and said nice things, and thanks to everyone who is going to watch the above video. Tweet us and let us know what you think, and use the #SMWCTCT tag. Here’s to learning new things!
Keep it social!
