Hello Awesome people!
How are you? You know at AM, that we’re mad for all things social, we love promoting all things awesome, and we love a bit of marketing? Of course you do. We even have a designated idiot to do these things. That’s me! HELLO! Myself aside, at Awesome Merch, we use an awesome online marketing tool called ‘Constant Contact‘ to promote all the awesome things we do via e-mail and social media.
Well, next week, our very own Luke Hodson has been asked to speak at The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Leeds by the awesome people at Constant Contact. He’s going to be speaking about Awesome Merch and how we use e-mail marketing and social media to make us more awesome! It’s next Wednesday, September 12th, and all the details are here. Just so you know, that’s also my birthday, so you have some time to sort out my presents. Thanks in advance.
Earlier this afternoon, I had the pleasure of speaking to the lovely Tamsin Fox-Davies from Constant Contact, who gave me the lowdown on the importance of this event, and e-mail and social marketing to small businesses. She said the following: “Half of the country are now on Facebook and 96% of e-mail users check their e-mail every single day. We’ll get across how e-mail and social marketing relate to one another, and how Awesome Merchandise are an excellent example of how it all works.” She also said, “We invited Luke along, because Awesome Merch are an interesting company, that people can relate to, and are one of our all-star companies, that do everything right when it comes to e-mail and social marketing.” Pretty awesome, huh?

Okay, I’ll stop there. I think that’s enough blurb for you all. I appreciate that I’m mostly preaching to the converted, but it’s good to learn new things, refresh skills and of course, meet fellow businesses and network. So to conclude this blog.
