Hello everyone!
It’s blog time again. I’m going to talk about a topic that divides popular opinion. It’s the Marmite that parts society down the middle. My girlfriend hates it but my dad loves it. Do you know what it is yet? Well, you should’ve guessed from the title. It’s the game of football. Here at Awesome Merch, one of our goals (deliberate) is to get involved with as many things as possible. Be it, tree-climbing, giraffe wrestling or even fencing fencing. That’s when you put up fences whilst fencing. It’s popular in the Sudan. We like keeping it awesome and getting involved with things!
SO – that’s why this Saturday we’ll be sending our elite octet (there’s eight in the squad) of awesome athletes down to the BSM 5-a-side tournament, at none other than WEMBLEY! Yes, we’re playing at WEMBLEY. It may be at the Powerleague but the famous stadium will still cast its shadow across our awesome team! Are we going to win? Probably. Are we going to score loads of goals? Definitely! Are we bribing the referees with tote bags and square badges? Of course.
This is the sixth year of the BSM 5-a-side tournament and the first year we’ve entered. There’s a buzz about HQ. A silent confidence that we’re going to bring home the trophy, and that come Monday morning we’ll be having an awesome open-top bus parade thing throughout the city of Leeds. Okay, well maybe I’m going overboard, but I can smell success or is that just Dan’s training kit?

It all takes place this Saturday between the hours of two and six p.m. We’ll need to play nine ten minute games (that’s a whole game of real football), if we’re going to win.
I’m hoping that I can go along (I have a prior engagement helping the elderly across roads, and rescuing puppies from house fires) so i can tweet live. As I said above, we’ll blog about the day next week and from Monday we’ll also be running a BIG comp for all you music fans. Don’t say, that we’re biased towards any one thing! I can’t think of a better word than ‘thing.’ ARGH.
