How are you? I hope you’re well. We’re currently being blessed with a typical summer’s day. If you’re looking back on this blog, then let me remind you. TODAY IS AWFUL. There’s rain, rain and more rain. I hate rain. Anyway, let’s stay away from the rain and crack on with all things positive. Bloody rain.
Did you have a good weekend? Did you enjoy the Jubilee? Did you get tipsy on Pimms for four days? Did you decorate your own face with bunting? If you’re looking for a regal conspiracy theory, I went to London yesterday and the Jubilee Line was closed on the underground. It can’t just be a coincidence. Although, I heard it was a nightmare getting out of London on Tuesday. I hope a newspaper ran with the ‘Queuebilee’ headline. One of those awful red topped ones probably did. Well, we still have some football kicking and The Olympics in the pipeline. I will remain impartial in both as I know I’m communicating to not just the U.K but to Ireland and Europe as a whole. Maybe even the world. If you’re a martian and reading this, can you send us a tweet or is that too primitive?
I digress! I love waffling. Here we go. Honestly. Are you looking for a job? Do you love computers more than your own family? Would you rather a bowl of Photoshop than your Weetabix for breakfast? In other news, our Pinterest page is up and running. I’ve decided to use it as a community platform. So please check it out and tweet us with the #awesomecommunity tag if you’ve a website you want included or you have a board suggestion. No Facebook, Soundcloud or blog links as they don’t seem to work. We wanna help you promote all the awesome things you do!
So what’s going on with all our competitions? Our Punktastic comp to win £245 of merch (an AWESOME tour package) is still running until Tuesday. Have you entered yet? The details are here. We’re also giving away an awesome pizza box full of fun, pretty much every day on Twitter. If you see the #pizzabox tag, then join in the tweetathon. You may have also seen that we’re helping out Redfest with some things for their awesome festival. Isn’t that nice of us? Okay, so only a couple more things to ram down your throat. Firstly, the last part of our ‘Meet The Staff‘ blog is now up for your perusal. You should read it because it took me ages! Oh yes, and because it’s really good. It’ll be featured on our forthcoming new site. Whoops! Not sure if I’m supposed to mention the new website which will be at least a thousand times more awesome than our current one, and all the things I’ve got planned for you on Facebook. I AM SO EXCITED THAT I’M GONNA TYPE A SENTENCE IN CAPITALS.
This has to end now, I have gone on to long and I need to go back to Twitter and hopefully entertain you all. I view myself as an internet clown. Juggling social platforms like cream pies and hiding behind my face paint is a metaphor for my true personality and the internet. This just got deep.
