Meet the Awesome Staff Part 4.

Hello y’all,

TFI Friday! As in the phrase and not the TV show. Every week is going so fast at the moment. That combined with the incessant rain means that the summer is nearly over, so I’d like to wish you all a Happy Christmas. Imagine, dropping the dreaded C-Bomb in May, I’m taking a risk there. There will be a revolution in the streets! Anyway, I’m waffling on for no real reason other than to introduce our weekly ‘Meet the Staff’ series! Check out part 1, part 2 and part 3 for the previous instalments and for the reason why we keep going on about soup and chips. Tweet or Facebook us about the blog and use the #soupandchips tag!

Have an awesome weekend!

What’s your name? Luke.

What’s your role at AM? Big boss dude.

What do you do outside of AM? I run Club Moustache, go to the gym and support West Bromwich Albion.

Favourite band atm? The Felice Brothers.

Favourite flavour of crisps? Chilli Doritos?!

Favourite city and why? New York, it’s awesome…

Diagnosis Murder or Murder She Wrote? Kind of hate both!

Have you ever had soup and chips? No, unfortunately not.

What’s your favourite thing about working for Awesome Merch? When people like the stuff we’ve made for them!

What’s your favourite Awesome Merchandise product? 25mm badges. It’s where it all started in my bedroom.

Would you rather have a barrel of beer or a barrel of laughs? A barrel of laughs.

Finally, is there anything awesome you wanna promote about yourself? You can follow me on twitter:@lukewhodson

What’s your name? Charlotte.

What’s your role at AM? Head Honcho.

What do you do outside of AM? Read, train super hard, avoid cooking, travel, bake, be messy. Annoy Luke?  I do that at work as well. I also attend over-exclaimers-anonymous meetings (!) and am trying (and failing) to curb my enthusiasm for ellipses.

Favourite band atm? The Front Bottoms. I really hate that they’re called that, though. Of all time…everyone knows the answer to this!  The Lawrence Arms & Sublime!

Favourite flavour of crisps? Ready Salted French Fries! Or Snaps…but only the cheesy ones.  I think they’ve stopped selling these? If anyone knows where I can get my hands on a packet it would be much appreciated (I’m not kidding).

Favourite city and why? New York!  It’s the best place on Earth. I wish I lived there. I don’t even know why! It’s amazing, there’s always something to do, it’s always sunny, the restaurants and hotels there are amazing (I’m a hotel nerd).  Or maybe Paris…for the same reasons! I don’t speak French though, so New York edges it.

Diagnosis Murder or Murder She Wrote? Diagnosis Murder. But my absolute favourite is Quincy, M.E.

Have you ever had soup and chips? No…but I am curious. Hopefully Pauly B will cook me some up soon.

What’s your favourite thing about working for Awesome Merch? Everyone here is super nice. I don’t have to wear an ill-fitting suit, or suck up to anyone. I do something different every day.

What’s your favourite Awesome Merchandise product? Probably all the packaged merch… the badge packs, the magnet packs, the backer cards. They look so amazing, especially with some of the awesome designs we get through!

Would you rather have a barrel of beer or a barrel of laughs? Laughs. I’m on a beer diet. If it’s interchangeable with a barrel of cocktails, or a barrel of Southern Comfort, we’ll go with that?

Finally, is there anything awesome you wanna promote about yourself? I’m currently drafting my magnum opus and preparing my Nobel prize winners speech. Kidding. I am writing a book though. Not about merch.

What’s your name? Paul Brennan.

What’s your role at AM? Production.

What do you do outside of AM? I’m at university studying pop music production at Huddersfield.

Favourite band atm? AFI.

Favourite flavour of crisps? Salt and Vinegar.

Favourite city and why? Huddersfield because it’s not Leeds.

Diagnosis Murder or Murder She Wrote? Diagnosis Murder – Dick Van Dyke is quality!

Have you ever had soup and chips? Yes of course, I am the inventor! I’ve had a couple of weeks off but I try to have it as often as I can as it should be the staple of every northern man’s diet.

What’s your favourite thing about working for Awesome Merch? The people and the atmosphere!

What’s your favourite Awesome Merchandise product? All the badges!

Would you rather have a barrel of beer or a barrel of laughs? The laughs.

Finally, is there anything awesome you wanna promote about yourself? No. Have fun! That’ll do.

What’s your name? Laurence Hutchinson.

What’s your role at AM? Use a big hole-punch, make circular stickers, cut out badges and production.

What do you do outside of AM? I play in a band called We Stand Victorious. I like hiking and study music tech at Leeds Met Uni.

Favourite band atm? Life Ruiner.

Favourite flavour of crisps? Salt & Vinegar.

Favourite city and why? Newcastle from awesome past experiences! The cheap drinks and banging nightlife in particular.

Diagnosis Murder or Murder She Wrote? Taggart!

Have you ever had soup and chips? I’ve been told about it but I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m in the process of changing this!

What’s your favourite thing about working for Awesome Merch? Relaxing, friendly, no whips, friendly atmosphere, and awesome people.

What’s your favourite Awesome Merchandise product? Bottle opener lighters because I use them all the time.

Would you rather have a barrel of beer or a barrel of laughs? I think a mix of two but probably the laughs.

Finally, is there anything awesome you wanna promote about yourself? I can do a wicked handstand and check out my band – We Stand Victorious.
