The Awesome Band Comp 2011!

Hello awesome people!

Hope you're all having an awesome week thus far. Here at AM, we're gearing up for the Christmas rush so we've hired a few of Santa's elves to make sure everything gets made and the reindeer are on the roof to make sure everything gets delivered. Well before all this chaos takes place, we've decided to have one more MEGA AWESOME competition for the rest of November.

This time we've decided to aim this prize frenzy at all the awesome bands that order from us and that we love making merchandise for. I've been in a band for ten years (still rubbish) and I know how hard it is to make money whilst touring so you can help the band to progress as well as making sure that you have enough money to eat and get to the next show. As I'm from the south, it was even harder for my band as we always had to eat at Marks & Spencer service stations. Their olives are simply divine!

Jokes aside, bands work hard creating awesome music for our listening pleasure. If you're in a band, then you WILL want to enter this competition.

THE PRIZES.

The first prize is The Deluxe Awesome Tour Pack which is worth an awesome £360!

WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO!

1) Mail your one colour shirt design to Jhon@awesomemerchandise.com with your band name and website (Facebook address will do, no My Space please!) PLEASE MAKE SURE IT'S A ONE COLOUR PRINT!

2) We'll load it up to a Facebook gallery and then you tell everyone you know and your fans to go and 'like' it.

3) The shirt/design with the most 'likes' wins the first prize. Then we'll give the second prize to the design WE like the best. There's NO other prizes this time.

Please note, this competition is only open to bands. The shirt design must be for a band, your band even. Don't send one in for the Smashing Pumpkins or Billy Ray Cyrus. You won't be entered! You must be a real band as well and your winning design will be the one that gets printed. Solo artists are fine too! Our decision is final. Any whining from people, general misbehaviour or negative comments on other entries will mean an automatic ban from the comp and our Facebook page. A handful of people complained about the voting system last time. This comp will help promote both the bands that enter, awesome artwork and of course us. So please don't spoil the fun for other people and if you don't like it, don't enter. This is only open to bands that come from places we ship to! WE WILL BE RUNNING COMPS FOR EVERYONE THROUGHOUT DECEMBER!

The comp closes at midnight on Wednesday November 30th, and the two winning bands will be announced the following day - December 1st.
